Bali, in the South Seas, is famous for its jewelry and its temples. We suspect that the origins of this particular Cthulhu pendant are tied to both. The temples in Bali derive their orientation from the mountains and the sea, the direction toward the sea being called "kelod". Coincidence, that this depiction of Cthulhu looks like something that would be found in a Balinese temple, or around the neck of a sea worshipper? We think not!
Cut and etched from Poplar wood, this pendant depicts Cthulhu with three sets of eyes, inspired by the sketch that H.P. Lovecraft drew in his letter to R.H. Barlow. Each pendant is stained and sealed, and comes with an adjustable leather cord.
